How to Play the Aim Trainer

The Aim Trainer is a hand-eye coordination drill. After you press Start, circular targets pop up at random positions on the board for a short time (default 0.8 seconds). Click a target before it disappears to score a hit; if you miss it, it counts as a miss. A percentage of the pop-ups are bombs — clicking a bomb ends the round instantly, while letting a bomb vanish on its own costs you nothing. You can set the game duration, how long each icon stays on screen, and how often bombs appear.

What Aim Training Improves

Aim training builds the three linked skills of hand-eye coordination: visual target detection, fast decision-making (is this a target or a bomb?), and precise motor response (moving the cursor to the right spot in time). These are the same skills used by athletes, surgeons, and anyone who works with live visual input. Short sessions with a high bomb chance train inhibition — the ability to suppress a reflexive click — while longer sessions with fewer bombs build stamina and raw speed. Track your hit count and accuracy over time to see progress.
